Awan,is Kuwait's 10th Arabic daily launched.
The first issue of the Awan newspaper was launched on 19 November 2007 with Dr Mohammad Al-Rumihi as editor-in-chief.
Awan is a political independent daily covering local politics, local and regional economy, local and international arts ,culture and sports.
Also the newspaper has allocated a whole page for non-Kuwaitis in the country under “Awan Communities”.
