The applicant must have good university degree with a track record in business development activities in the MENA region. The applicant must be fluent in Arabic, English and French. He/she should be able to travel freely within the MENA region, and ideally has a good knowledge of the publishing market. The applicant should be able to draft marketing material and sales offers, also be an experienced user of business and authoring software tools.
Job Description:
• Assistant to
the CEO on sales and marketing, and on business development
• Develop new
markets for the company as directed by the CEO. These to include North Africa in
the first instant but can include other regions
• Play active part in the
development of marketing documentation and PR
• Based in Beirut, the
position (part time or full time) will be on contract basis with remuneration
largely based on achievement
These main tasks above will involve the
following sub-activities
• Assist the CEO in all his duties, including
communicating with clients and partners on his behalf
• Help with the
production of marketing material using appropriate authoring tools
• Help
maintain and develop the SalesForce tool as key CRM and sales instrument for the
Company
• Maintain excellent knowledge of markets and products development
in the media sector
• Research market segments relating to KnowledgeView’s
products
• Help organise marketing events as appropriate
• Help with
conducting products’ demonstrations to clients
• Draft proposals to
clients and in initiating sales opportunities
• Communicate with customers
for meetings and demos
• Develop the partners network in the areas covered
by the assignment
